@RCWarkentin I agree. The taxi services in this city are WAY behind the times and this line of thinking from council only serves to stifle innovation. I donโt buy the safety argument they are making.
Have you been following the new ride share bylaw from #RedDeer City Council? There are two ways to level the playing field:
1) increase regulations for everyone
2) decrease regulations for everyone
The local taxi companies wants more regulation.

@brianolstad@twittem More and more targeted. Exactly. Gone are the days of their being ROI in broadly focused campaigns. I remember paying less than a 1$ cpm... for that price everyone can see your ad... but also not everyone was on Facebook either.
Man Iโm getting old.
@hezzie7 Itโs still underpriced attention. Even if you move some of those ad $$ to Instagram to hit a younger demographic, youโre still advertising with Facebook. Like it hate it, they are the game in 2019!
