Post workout snack🏃 Apricots quick and oats slow release. Cheese and hummus for fats and protein. & 2 of 5 a day 👍

[ReactiveHypo @ReactiveHypo]

@katieandjen I hope it improves and that you get to the bottom of it.

[ReactiveHypo @ReactiveHypo]

@katieandjen I read long term visual complications can occur with diabetes, but due to hyper, rather than hypo...https://t.co/AJggtZdBt2

[ReactiveHypo @ReactiveHypo]

@katieandjen I haven't myself, that must be distressing. NHS say blurred vision is a symptom of a hypo, but I have not come across permanent

When symptoms of low blood sugar start creeping in, this is where I head! What do you use when your 'feeling low'?

How SWERY’s reactive hypoglycaemia manifests itself in his video games https://t.co/Z8nT531oRs

[ReactiveHypo @ReactiveHypo]

@jonassista1 You're right! I have experienced the same and find that other variables like stress, exercise and sleep all seem to play a part

Some good info from diabetes UK: Hypos After Eating - Reactive Hypoglycemia https://t.co/IvJmOpX5HV via @Diabetescouk #reactivehypoglycemia

[ReactiveHypo @ReactiveHypo]

@ang_trowbridge Pleased that works for you too! :) I will have to try yams, thanks for the recommendation! 👍

[ReactiveHypo @ReactiveHypo]

Can you relate to this? #reactivehypoglycemia #RHproblems

[ReactiveHypo @ReactiveHypo]

Whilst I'm careful with free sugars, I find that starchy carbs, high in fiber, alongside protein and fats work great

[ReactiveHypo @ReactiveHypo]

@WendolphRed haha very true 😂, I like your observation.👍

[ReactiveHypo @ReactiveHypo]

Dinner 😊. Mackerel, avocado and small carb portion with greens and cucumber hiding beneath. #reactivehypoglycaemia

[ReactiveHypo @ReactiveHypo]

@WendolphRed Yeah you're right I have described it as that before too. It's not quite as fun though sadly haha, more scary.

[ReactiveHypo @ReactiveHypo]

@WendolphRed That sounds exactly how it would feel when I used to have alcohol. I liked cider which is full of sugar 😮.

[ReactiveHypo @ReactiveHypo]

@WendolphRed Like having my glucose drink for GTT actually... I had it after a good meal, in the evening and at home. All fine thankfully ☺

[ReactiveHypo @ReactiveHypo]

@WendolphRed Very awake and figidity after and my heart rate felt elevated, like an adrenaline surge. (Not sure if it was in my head).

[ReactiveHypo @ReactiveHypo]

@WendolphRed I had my first piece of cake for ages the other day.😵 It was a slim piece though, & I had it with natural yoghurt and nuts.

[ReactiveHypo @ReactiveHypo]

@WendolphRed I find it easy to question myself and wonder if it would be OK... but I've learnt that it's not worth it.

[ReactiveHypo @ReactiveHypo]

@WendolphRed Very coincidental! Good idea to stick with those foods. 👍

[ReactiveHypo @ReactiveHypo]

@phoebebrown_93 Pleased to see you got a diagnosis and know what you're working with. :) It's so easy to think it's all in your head.
