@matheuscarvalhx Development vs. redevelopment. Those that profit from unsustainable development lobby for more of it; they push to reverse policies, and advocate for undoing sustainable initiatives. Many cities have removed bike lanes, undone growth boundaries, erased land protections.

@pmeconature Right on. Displacement as waste transport and waste shifting often has pollution and waste of its own, which makes matters worse.

#ZeroWaste is the most sustainable way, and the sooner, the better.

As with other development, data center development shifts control of land, resources, power, wealth; control of personal information too.
