What a way to start our #Climatechampions project across LCR with Laura, the CEO of Hope for the Future climate change charity not only talking about environmental issues and what we can do but also how she decided, at an early age, to fight climate change. Truly inspirational.
We're running free writing courses for 9-13 yo in the Liverpool City Region from May on the theme of climate change. Young people will have the chance to write a short story, see it included into an anthology and displayed in local libraries plus read out at storytelling events.
The first post of our Write Up North blog is now here and, over the next few weeks, we will be showing everyone what we have been looking at during our creative writing courses funded thanks to Arts Council England.
