Mrs. Knox and her 5th grade book club met with author Jennifer Nielsen today to discuss her book “Iceberg”. It was such a treat to hear about her writing process and the research that goes in to writing historical fiction.
Just a reminder that Early voting takes place all this week with Saturday being Election Day and the last day to vote.
I could not think of a better gift for teachers for Teacher Appreciation than to vote for candidates that support all teachers and students with kindness.
You know what teachers want the most for for “Teacher Appreciation Week??”

For those of you receiving mailers in Frisco. Do yourselves a favor and compare this one to the other candidate mailers. I prefer the candidate who can share his story without dragging others through the mud. This is how a school board trustee should act. @markhillfisd
This @friscoisd educator and parent joined my colleagues in voting for the two Board candidates who haven’t been bought by PACs, don’t spread fear & misinformation, and are focused on what’s best for our kids and not a political party. @Dynette4FISD@markhillfisd#FISDmadetoshine
Not trying to “pressure” anyone on how to vote for FISD Board, but personally I like the candidates who have strong records as community servants and who consistently advocate for Frisco students and teachers instead of the candidates being propped up by fringe political groups.
Check this out … Frisco ISD educators showing their support for Mark Hill and Dynette Davis. Folks, this is an incredible list that continues to grow. It should speak volumes to the voters regarding who our educators support. See link below…
