.@LeaderJohnThune, I hereby object to any effort to put the Senate into recess in August—at least until such time as the Senate has passed the SAVE America Act—and hereby request a roll call vote.
Do not assume you have my consent.
You do not.
@tylerbowyer I was in Nashville last weekend and saw several Freedom t-shirts and a CK hat. It is a nice feeling to see reminders of Charlie everywhere. I try to always say I like their shirt/hat.
Platner drops out. Now Maine is going to let 600 Democrat party insiders pick the new candidate, replacing the guy that 156,000 people voted for. Just like the party kicked Biden to the curb and replaced him with Kamala. Tell me again which party is a threat to democracy.
Every time a socialist wins a Democratic primary, you hear the same word: "our party."
Gustavo Gordillo, co-chair of NYC-DSA, said it plainly to Spectrum News: they're on the Democratic ballot line, but "we don't agree with the way the Democratic Party establishment organizes or runs its party apparatus."
They're not joining. They said so. It's a takeover. 305 DSA candidates have won office since 2018 running this play.

@JonErwin13 Saw it on Sunday— thank you for a fantastic movie! I didn’t want it to end, so I’m glad to hear the sequel is in the works. Looking forward to the “pawn” taking down the king!
This was the final minute of Vice President Vance's spellbinding salute to America.
Vance closed his July 4th speech with a powerful message that EVERY American has a role to play in the next 250 years of American greatness.
He tells his fellow Americans: “I’m proud of you.”
VANCE: “When we went to the moon, of course, our great astronauts flew the rockets, and our great men of science and engineering built them.”
“But there were clerks and janitors and welders like my grandfather, who each played their distinctive American part.”
“All of us have a part.”
“All of us had our part, our role to play in creating 250 years of a proud American story.”
“And all of us will need to do our part to create the next 250 years of American greatness.”
“So I say to all my fellow Americans, I'm proud of you, happy birthday and happy birthday to or great nation.”
“Today, my friends, we celebrate and tomorrow we get back to work. God bless you!”
President Trump: "After 250 years, American freedom still rings, the American Dream still lives, and the American flag still flies more proudly then ever before over the people who will not quit, the nation that will not fail, the country that will not fall."
TRUMP: “On this anniversary, we must remember that American liberty has not endured for 250 years merely because of words on paper. Liberty has prevailed because of the culture and character of the people who declared it, defended it, and preserved it.”
Reminder that those who will criticize America the most this weekend still pick this country to live in over every other one on the planet.
Actions speak louder than words. America wins again 🇺🇸
@glennbeck We went last weekend — a great way to celebrate America’s 250th! Also recommend a quick stop at the National Portrait Gallery to see all the Presidents.
