The issues isn’t them not being African cause you can make an argument that there’s a difference between being African and being of African descent. The issue is some of them want to rewrite what it meaning to be black. They want to disassociate blackness with Africa and want to say they are the only black people. That you as an African,isn’t black people most Africans doesn’t primarily identify with their race, they want to turn black into an ethnicity and that they are the only black people in the world. Some of them go as far is denying that the transatlantic slave trade happen. Most of these people that think like this can’t even tell the difference between race, nationality and ethnicity.
