Thank you again for your support for RSBH. Regrettably due to the extreme conditions (the flow in Reading is currently above 160 m3/sec) and anticipated poor weather in the week ahead we have made the difficult decision to cancel the event.
Full refunds given to all crews.
Thanks to all for your patience whilst we work through the draw. We are making space by eliminating doubling where we can. However the flow rate is now becoming a factor in decision making - currently red boards and rising. We will make a decision on Sunday whether to go ahead
We have well over 500 entries now for an event that has capacity for 450 competing crews. However only 340 of these have paid. If you would like to have the best chance of your entries being accepted we would encourage you to pay for your entries ASAP
…we will prioritise entries which were put in first, and paid first, all other factors being equal, so don’t delay.

And we are off! Entries for Reading Small Boats 2024 are officially open as of noon. We already have 187 entries which makes us over 30 pct full. There is a new entries policy which we introduced last year which means that we won’t just take the first 450 entries but… 1/2
Following a rush on entries we have had to close small boats entries for RAR Sunday. I have started a waiting list - usually we manage to get most of these in so please do use it. https://t.co/KTpyD0fe3v
The RAR team is now working hard on the preparing the course before the regatta on 10th and 11th June. A reminder for those new to the RAR that Saturday is the 1500m course and Sunday is the 1000m course. Some handy course markers in our cox’s postcard below.
We are excited to announce that entries for Reading Am will open on 27th April and that the event will be held on 10th & 11th June. Check out our brochure to find out more! https://t.co/5nuVttadHf
