We are deeply saddened by the passing of Frank Costa.
A Geelong icon, Frank’s contribution to the city, football club and as Patron of Read the Play can never be overstated.
A warm and generous man who always had time for our program and staff, he will be greatly missed.

We wanted to put a modern spin on our logo but ensure there was still some familiarity to it. The logo is sports themed and encompasses a shield that represents strength and protection, two pillars of our program.

We are so excited to introduce you all to the brand new logo for Read the Play!
We discussed in depth what we wanted our new logo to represent and our design team worked hard to get it just right!

AFL Barwon staff were fortunate enough to have @KReadthePlay Education Coordinator Tayla John present (virtually!) this morning around self-care during COVID-19
Our staff are committed to investing in ourselves and one another through this period.

@bayfm939 Hi Guys... Read the Play has been successful in receiving this grant under the Mutual Understanding, Support, Tolerance, Engagement and Respect (MUSTER) Initiative.
This funding is guaranteed, not a funding promise should Sarah be re-elected.
Cheers
We are delighted to receive this funding to establish a program for the 17/18 yr old age group, complimenting the outstanding results we achieve with 14/15/16 yr olds in sporting clubs.
Thank you to @SHendersonMP for your support. https://t.co/F3dreMqW7u
Throughout April, purchase a pair of pink or blue socks as our staff have to support Read The Play, to raise awareness for youth mental health and help us #SockItToMentalillness

Mark O'Connor remembers getting steamrolled by Harry Taylor in his first training session.
Now he's played eight games on the trot and found his feet at AFL level.
