Can I just say it’s completely irresponsible to continue comparing COVID-19 to the flu? Mortality rate is estimated around 1%, 10x higher than flu, and we have a flu vaccine, something we don’t have yet for corona.

The main problem is that with flu you’re not typically contagious till you start showing symptoms. With COVID-19 you’re contagious for days beforehand and potentially weeks afterward, increasing the potential for you to infect someone who can’t fight it, even if you can.
