I had the opportunity to throw a few innings at the Pitt Prospect Camp this past Wednesday against some outstanding hitters from around the country. My velocity was strong, and I was really happy with how my changeup, rise ball, and curveball were working. It was an awesome experience competing against such talented players, and I had a lot of fun. I’m excited to keep improving and can’t wait for what’s next!

Last night’s game was one to remember.

We started in 105° heat, and just 45 minutes later the temperature had dropped to 72° as severe weather rolled in.

I was schedule for the game 2 start but came into game 1 in relief in the 3rd inning with runners on second and third and nobody out and record 4 strikeouts. Technically, I recorded 3 outs on 4k’s , but one batter reached first on a dropped third strike.

Unfortunately, the game and evening was cut short when the skies opened up and tornado-like winds forced everyone off the field.

Looking forward to getting back on the mound tonight in Jackson, NJ!
