LIMPOPO POLICE SEEK PUBLIC ASSISTANCE TO LOCATE SUSPECT(S) INVOLVED IN MURDER, ROBBERY AND ATTEMPTED MURDER CASES

The Police Detectives attached to the Limpopo Provincial #MurderAndRobbery Unit are appealing to members of the public to assist in locating suspect(s) involved in the serious cases, including murder, robbery and attempted murder.

The suspect(s) are wanted in connection with a murder case reported at Mogwadi during September 2025, a murder case reported at Seshego during April 2026, and a robbery and attempted murder case reported at Seshego during June 2026.

The team is also investigating a murder case stemming from an incident that occurred on 25 December 2021 at a liquor restaurant in Ga-Chokwe, Moletjie, within the Seshego policing area.

According to the investigation, the deceased, Kwena Sacra Legodi, aged 33, and his male friend were at the liquor establishment when they were allegedly attacked by a group of armed men. The suspects were allegedly armed with knives, knopkieries and slashers.

The victim sustained severe injuries and was declared deceased at the scene, while his friend managed to escape despite sustaining injuries during the attack.

The incident was reported to the police and a case was opened. Seven suspects were subsequently arrested in connection with the matter.

The accused persons were released on bail, while warrants of arrest were subsequently issued for certain accused persons who failed to attend court.

On 12 April 2026, the victim who had survived the attack on 25 December 2021 was reportedly shot and killed at his residence in Ga-Chokwe, Moletjie, within the Seshego policing area.

The police are requesting Sipho Sphola Mokwatedi, of Moletjie, Ga-Mabitsela appearing in the pictures to report to his nearest police station, as it is believed that he can assist the police to resolve these cases.

Anyone with information that can assist the police with investigations is requested to contact the Investigating Officer, Sergeant Noko Mashitisho, on 082 565 8463, or the nearest police station. Information can also be reported to #CrimeStop on 08600 10111 or via the #MySAPSApp.

20-year-old Nonceba Mefane Bontse has been missing since 4 September 2026. She was last seen at around 15:35 at Imperial Reserve, Mafikeng.
