@Parubinor@PitchSideTweets Yeah in real life you start with Spain XI and see where you can upgrade without losing Spain’s control of games, so 1 or both of Kane or Jude in the front 6 along with Rodri, Yamal and 2-3 Spaniards. James maybe RB. Rice takes Merino’s key bench role, CB or Llorente’s RB spot.
@pinkhoopsss C and 2 main offensive guys (Pick 2 of LeBron, MJ and Steph I guess because the first 2 are so great and Steph so efficient and the gravity) are gonna be top 20 guys, but then yeah maybe drop out of the top 20 for a couple lower usage 3+D guys like Kawhi/Klay/Paul George.
@NobleQAli@TheSlowBurn I felt like the show didn't really endorse or reject that stuff, it's just the perspective of a character.
Fun show, classic Lindelof (which I like, but obviously views on Lost, Watchmen and I guess Leftovers may vary).
@CentipedeMouse Gillian Flynn hasn't written one in a while but she has 3. Jordan Harper isn't weird, but I think his stuff fits the "better than airport slop but no apparent Literary ambitions" tag. I hear good things about Tana French but haven't gotten to her yet.
@AverageJack_YT He can really pass through the lines but physically i think he seems like maybe a better fit in Spain. Reminds me more of an Eric Garcia type than a typical Prem CB, though 3 at the back I could see for sure.
@lyfesung@xaviercrno@PlutoVibez_ Those aren’t English players who have had PL success. If Gordon flops for 75m Barca can sell him to a Villa or Spurs for close to what they bought him for.
If they buy the Ajax LW for 40 and he flops, maybe you get 15m for him?
@D1upp_@CJ93NFFC Actual front 6 is more like:
Welbeck
Rio-MGW-Palmer
Garner-Wharton
And you get a balanced midfield, 2 creators and try to isolate Rio 1 on 1 a lot. Chose Welbeck as a better fit with Wharton/MGW/Palmer through balls but striker is a tough call.
