@realEliThompson I appreciate the lecture on PR strategy, Elijah. We can continue dissecting my phrasing, but I already explained to you why I wrote my first tweet the way I did. If you disagree with how I wrote it, that is your right, but continuing in circles like this is a waste of time.
@realEliThompson With all due respect to you, Mr. Thompson, working-class Americans who frustrated by the cost of living don’t care about my phrasing. I am putting an economic proposal on the table to make this sensitive topic not so sensitive anymore.
@realEliThompson Of course, it’s a bipartisan issue. You need not explain to me the significance of the minimum wage, that is why I seek to raise it moderately to $12. However, getting my own caucus on board I step 1 for any bipartisanship to occur.
I never said “only with my fellow House Republicans” in my previous tweet, interesting of you. I assumed many Democrats, such as Senator DeMint who made a tweet of his own, would potentially be on board. I did not think explicitly mentioning the Democrats was necessary.
The current $7.25 wage floor has lost its value against inflation and is insufficient for today’s cost of living. I hope to discuss the possibility of moderately raising the wage floor with my fellow House Republicans. It was 2009 since the last wage increase, it is long overdue.
Today, I am proud to announce my candidacy for Florida’s 26th Congressional District in the House of Representatives.
In the coming days, my campaign will release a comprehensive policy agenda detailing the list of issues I pledge to address if elected.
As far as ideologies go, Communism is the second-worst one of them all. There can be no toleration of this perverted, evil ideology. That is why I am committed to ensuring this Congress holds China and North Korea accountable.
Let me explain.
I am not against emergency funding for FEMA, but states are in control of their own budget and must contribute in solving the problem instead of solely relying on try Federal Government. States that are able to dig into their own budget must do so.
@HoundRBLX Impeaching the President for violating the constitution is serving my constituents. I assure you my constituents do not want a President who was never eligible to be President in the first place. It is very ‘grown up’ to support this impeachment.
