The Democrats need a next generation of Senators and Congress members like @Jamie_Raskin, @RepAdamSchiff, …, people with the necessary passion and expertise to move things along despite a power obsessed, no holds barred GOP. This new generation of Democrats must lead the country into a new era of Demos & Kratos “Rule by the People”, a form of a democracy with updated rules, able to uphold against the challenges of the 21 century. Rules that are clear and flexible to safely deliver an upwardly expandable world democracy that contain weighting factors to fairly represent all 195 countries without a manipulative college system or similar backdoor cheats. I think that we can all agree that a democratic system with rules conceived in the 18th century needs an update, in order to function in today’s environment and beyond - think misuse of artificial intelligence.

There is a significant difference between Trump’s behavior after the March trial date was set. Before that he was pretty nutty. Now he’s totally f*cking out of his mind. I think he suddenly realizes that he literally could be in a jail cell 7 months from now.

It’s hard to believe, but Trump is really thinking that his MAGA carnival followers are going to rise up in his support. Most of these people have families, a mortgage, saving for their kids’ schooling. They like a raucous rally, who doesn’t, but the also show up for work after the fun. Most of the violent organizers are going to jail for the 1st failed amateurishly executed coup. Still these things go out of hand, if not addressed. A trial must conclude before the November elections.

It’s a shame that Twitter is being morphed into a cloaca. Before his acquisition of Twitter, Musk had some good reputation and has been leading space travel. Actually revolutionized space travel - nobody has dared to build commercially viable and reusable rockets before. He also has revolutionized the electric car. But after buying Twitter, some fuses blew up in his head. Why???

A sad product of our educational system. It’s a long term approach by the GOP to canvas a lifelong following. Make good education hard to come by, make it expensive, underfund public schools, etc. We are already witnessing the fruits of this strategy, where ignorance and stupidity take a front row. ‘TRATOR’ DeSantis throws any intellectualism and common decency under the bus. He’s banning books, even banning words. In NAZI Germany it was done by book burning, arresting or killing people, critical of the dictator. it is sadly still the hallmark of every dictatorship around the world. Pretty soon unaware (un-woke, non thinking) people (Trump loves the uneducated), who are easily indoctrinated and turned into MAGA acolytes, stand ready to assist in the arrest and murder of critically thinking people.
It has happened before, is happening now, and will happen in the future, in order to suppress critical voices and to replace them with lickspittles and family members. All to maintain the grip on power and the ability to strip the country of its assets, until an unrecognizable carcass is left to rot ⚰️.

If the restrictions, imposed on Trump, do not apply to him, then they are not worth the ink they are printed with. Nothing, has stopped Trump from berating, intimidating, and threatening jurors, witnesses, co-defendants, prosecutors, and even judges. He might acquiesce until Friday, in fear of going to prison until the trail. But thereafter it is almost guaranteed that he’ll slip back into his usual MO. If we don’t see any consequences, why bother … .

Similar to Hitler’s acolytes, similar slogans , similar population percentages. There are so many parallels, despite people saying it will never happen here in America. It can happen anywhere. Hardships for abt 30% of the population. A malicious and skilled demagogue with a growing support network. Most important is a weak opposition, easily cowed by violence. However, in America it might just be the end of the aspiring dictator since there are still enough true globally thinking patriots to show our own orange 🍊 to the juicer. A decisive factor that Putin didn’t account for in his outdated KGB hubris since it has been working for him in Russia.
