Friends—first off, thank you for all your support and encouragement. I'm some nobody account scraping for crumbs, and the bigger fish sending some love my way? Absolute miracle. I was about to start an OnlyFans for history memes.

I feel like I need to tell you a little more about who I am and what I believe. I'm a history nerd who knows we'll never "master" shit—history's a greasy pole we keep slipping off of. But Western civilization? We hit the jackpot.

Christianity says every soul matters, Greeks and Romans give us logic and togas, Enlightenment says "divine right of kings, my ass!" Locke and Kant scream "rights, bitches!" Boom—all these things come together in our Declaration and Constitution; the next best thing to holy scripture, imo.

Those documents? They were the springboard that launched us to the moon, cured half the world’s plagues, taught peasants to read so they could argue online about dumb shit (and important shit). Humans are capable of insane greatness—then we turn around and build ovens or drop nukes because we are just as capable of insane evil and destruction. Equal opportunity monsters.

Right now? It feels like late-stage Roman Empire: decadence, bread, circuses, pronouns, whatever. I'm sick of sitting here feeling powerless to help.

So here's my big-brain plan: yell into the void. Tiny voice now—whisper with delusions of grandeur—but give me a few years, Lord willing and algorithms permitting, I'll be doing this full-time, sounding off on every platform that the soul of the West is giving way to a corrosive combination of apathy, nihilism, and toxic compassion.

I know I probably sound like a pretentious clown saying "my calling is internet patriot." But I see the warning signs everywhere—cultural rot, historical amnesia, all of it—and if enough of us grow a spine and start howling, maybe we remind ourselves who the fuck we are before we end up as footnotes in the long arc of history.

You lot keep me going. Maybe my ranting matters. Maybe it doesn't. Either way, thanks for the boost, patriots. I’m glad to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with each of you.

@ElliotSpeller2 Sheer numbers, they’re comparable. But our national population is like 6x the UK, making them a way smaller percentage for us. Yes we have a much bigger problem with middle and South Americans than y’all because that’s how geography works.
