The recent horrific revelations about Aboriginal toddlers raped; children murdered; and teens living unsupervised, show that they should have been removed as they have been for generations.

But this would expose the Stolen Generation as the myth it always was.

Today, since even the Rudd National Apology nearly 20 years ago, the rate of removal has more than doubled.

Clearly, they are now not being 'stolen' or taken 'to turn them white'.

They are removed from the dangers of sexual and physical abuse and neglect.

If, therefore, today they are removed to protect them, why could that not have been the case previously?

And, if you choose to argue 'different times', then when, precisely, did those 'different times' end and these new times begin, with vastly increased rates of child removal?

We all know the Stolen Generations defies logic and is largely a myth, so who's going to say it out loud?
