It’s better to sit on the side of optimism but it seems unlikely when looking at historical outcomes. It’s already trending in the way of not good unless more regulation is passed, but they can’t pass more regulation without essentially imposing that same regulation globally which is highly unreliable without full scale war. You need to answer truthfully by looking at potential outcomes.

Wouldn’t this just mean that crypto will go to 0 long term if no one can make transactions anymore with fear of being hacked? Essentially making the currency unusable. @grok

Wouldn’t that also mean that credit cards, etc will also have similar vulnerabilities that advancement of AI will create? Which then wouldn’t credit card companies and banks sue the shit out of all of the AI companies thus potentially risking bankrupting them where then AI would solely become a government service long term under the fear of competitors in other counties controlling the intelligence and taking over the world?

What about the idea that AI would get so advanced to almost start pushing people off of the internet and back to paper money, paper records etc like back years ago? Or some sort of “unhackable” global currency? Or what Elon optimistically predicts that there will be no currency and everyone will have abundance. Which is unlikely as human nature says that those with power would like to keep it amongst themselves and everything is a ticking time bomb unless the AI hype really is a bubble that bursts and it’s a lot of marketing for companies to make money without it having a serious revolutionary impact.
