Wasn’t feeling good this morning so I didn’t end up watching RLCS, just checked the results and KC missed the main event which might ruin their chances of making the major and potentially even worlds. One bad day in the qualifying Sunday and your whole season could turn upside down. I really just hope this changes because that is one of the biggest reasons I came to my decision to stop competing in the RLCS and I think it will lead other players in the same direction especially with such limited major and worlds spots. This game is very hard to stay top tier as a trio for longer than 6 months and this format will only lead to more orgs feeling there’s not the necessary security to remain in the scene. Imagine having the team people are calling the best in the world in the first half of the season suddenly not make the world championship because of one poor performance over 6 regionals now you’re team has to sit out the 7 month off season and likely blow up the roster and do it all again. Wishing the best for the KC guys, not having the blue wall in the crowd at worlds would be such a shame those guys make the event so much more enjoyable to watch.
