Euros 2024 has finally exposed the massive drop in quality across football. At international level, it is less about systems and way more about individual ability. And what this Euros has shown is that football is in a bad bad way. Worst tournament of my lifetime.

@Culturecams Incredible is too big of a hyperbole bro. Rice is a good player who is doing what he did at West Ham. He's expectional defensively and keeps it simple offensively. Words like incredible should be reserved for the elite, they are way overused nowadays.

@montszzz No one overlooks that but that's not the reason he broke his ankle vs PSG. He could have come back in shape and same thing happen. Over a decade, he averaged 65 games for club and country. No doubt he should have looked after himself better, but he still had a fantastic career.

17-18: He had the best season
18-19: Hazard, VVD, Bernardo better
19-20: Mane, VVD and De Bruyne better
20-21: Gundo, Kane
22-23: He was the best
22-23: Haaland, KDB, Odegaard all better

Doesn't mean Salah wasn't top 2 of the last 6 years

@LibanLDN @Culturecams You said done more and achieved more. Hazard made team of the year every year expect 15/16 and 17/18 (5/7). Most Man of The Matches. Has a player of the Year, and 2 Prem titles. Why are Kane and Salah above him when they have achieved less outside of greater output.
