This is how to make the fast Direction Detection contraption. There's dead-spots so if it doesn't hit the on/off, move it up or down. If you build it on the left side, you need to load it with a door. This skeleton shows both left and right loading, you don't need both.
Made this left/right detector on discord together with @5xWhale . We've recently discovered a lot of new techniques to build and optimise contraptions! I will post more examples soon
Global position detector idea. While the POW ensures the Mole can't move off global ground, the winged mole still moves the spring whenever it turns. This allows a simple setup with two Thwomps on either side to simply work as expected - instead of triggering continuously!
@JessZafarris Hey Jess, I asked Rob this as well, but I'm a bit confused on how these 2 prefixes don't cancel each other out. It might be worth investigating double negative words on #WordsUnravelledPodcast https://t.co/j6kg7loecy
@robwordsYT I'm a bit confused on how these prefixes don't cancel each other out. It might be interesting to cover double negative words... ๐ https://t.co/j6kg7loecy
Another 2 bit state machine example. The left side always toggles OFF when the stack is DOWN. The right side always toggles ON when the stack is UP. The left Spikeball is pushed outward and the right Spikeball is held down by the stack. The red/blue blocks push the Spikeball back
I supported this game on Kickstarter for the last few years and I can't believe it's almost out. It looks like it's going to be incredible. Hope some of you kaizo peeps check it out!
Rest in peace @cinthia_hermosa. You were an incredible person and the world was lucky to have you in it for a short time. I'll miss your booming laugh, stupid jokes, and overall positive perspective on life. I'm sorry if I hurt you. I hope you forgave me. I'll remember you fondly
