Erik Schneider 👑
Erik Schneider is a 2028 6’2” guard out of Lake Travis High School who continues to show his value as a versatile two-way playmaker. Schneider impacts the game in multiple ways offensively, whether it’s knocking down shots from deep, attacking the lane, or finishing through contact at the rim. He also possesses sneaky athleticism that allows him to get downhill, create space, and make plays above what defenders may expect. Combined with his underrated passing ability, he consistently creates opportunities for both himself and his teammates.
Defensively, Schneider is active and reliable on the perimeter, using his effort, instincts, and lateral quickness to make an impact on that end of the floor as well. Off the court, he maintains a 3.8 GPA, showing strong discipline as a student-athlete. On the AAU circuit, he plays with ATX Lockdown and will be competing at the GASO G1 Series in Duncanville during the live period.

A point guard’s most important measure of how good a game we played was how much better we made our teammates play that night!! This has become a lost art that is still very much needed…Especially for front line players still trying to establish an identity.

- Speedy guard that can change directions in transition (makes it difficult for defense to keep up).
- Good at dishing the ball when getting downhill.
- Solid lateral movement on defense.

How bad do you want it?
I’m proud of Rio and how he has grown this season. I love his heart, his sense of humor, and how much he cares about other people.
He is a fiery competitor that I am proud to coach. He is proof that it is not how you start that matters, it’s how you finish.
