@DesigningMind@RichardGage_911 To be fair, "the smartest among us" were aware of the issues. In most systems of the time, years were stored as two digits, not 4. Recall that computers had much less memory and storage capacity back then. At the time, rockets were launched with less compute than your phone.
@teej_dv This legit happens to me with Docker Desktop for windows on my work PC. I installed it, used it for the day, came back next morning... nothing but a shortcut. Installed it again, same thing next day, and again... same thing. Guess I'm not using it ๐คท
@trunarla That time a client didn't realize they were making API requests with plain text user name + password in the query string, then logging them in plain text to App Insights ๐คทโโ๏ธ
@cj_m4a@PezRadar Agreed, instead of destroying the things people enjoy, make a more interesting way for them to do that thing.
NM dungeons can now be reset after beating them, and each reset increases their level by 1
@JamesCarricato@cj_m4a@PezRadar It should be a feature of the dungeon reset button, and the dungeon should gain 1 level every time you reset so you eventually have to craft a new key
@JesusWalks55 @xAjido @toadv1ne@DecinatorPUBG@quin69 Idk, I think he hit the nail on the head spot on, and I'm level 100. 50-100 felt mostly the same outside of getting raiment at 91. There aren't enough build changing items yet. All the gear feels homogenized
@CN_Mbhalati@trashh_dev Like buying a comfortable bed, an ergonomic chair, or a split keyboard, you don't realize what you've been missing until you have it.
@housecor Whenever I get a new client, I begin to see them everywhere. I once worked on a client's website, then saw their logo in an elevator while on vacation on the other side of the world
@alexbunardzic@ruimarques84 Can you explain this to my current client ๐
"We're running this project as agile, and we're going to complete it in 4 months"...
"But user's aren't going to test or provide any feedback until the last 2 weeks."
Fun times...
@alexbunardzic@ruimarques84 Calling a project "Agile" is often used as an excuse for not knowing what we need to build. It's great if you have no time constraints, but it falls apart when you do
@TheJackForge@ThePrimeagen I don't work directly with anyone in the office, so it feels pointless to go. If I worked with people and could walk over and have show and tell with them, I would go for sure
@jdan Prettier never breaks on you? I get hangs at least once a week where it can't figure out what it's doing and I have to cancel and save the file again for it to figure it out
@bradleysh_ @ThePrimeagen Better to do the planning up front where possible than get interrupted multiple times per day with "can we also do x, how long will it take?"
@feoh@ThePrimeagen Agile only in name to make up for the fact that no one had a plan, and no one knows how the technology they choose to base their entire system on works. It's so frustrating
