@rkiefn rt, the old ping messed with server latency and wasn't an accurate representation of your "true" ping to the servers, whereas now it accurately represents that number just like it did previously in settings

@ffnx0084 @jankozfnbrr Trust me, it's never about being "mechanical enough" and it's about how much more fluid and quicker you can be with it on, that's why Pollo switched. Also, the game has shifted so much from chapter 1-2, the game is no longer the slow and methodical box fighting it once was.

@taysonFN @FNCompetitive @FortniteStatus If you're getting the same ms as in your settings, then that's all that matters. The old ping was "fake" because of how it accounted for server delay and etc, this ping shows your "true" ms connection to the servers

@ChangingCrisis @419twizzz yeah I also agree, literally the whole point is that as you transition from squads—>solos it becomes more and more random, and therefore the winners are much harder to predict.

@ChangingCrisis @419twizzz Of course, but I think because of the nature of solos, vergo is right and there’s probably not going to be a clear cut singular favorite as opposed to many solo players who can go and win it on the right day.

@ChangingCrisis @419twizzz I think it's more so that as you go from squads-->solos, each rng part of fortnite matters a lot more. Like it's much easier to get lobby sprayed at in solos, max zones can be more unlucky, you basically have no support (from teammates) to buffer against the "rng" aspects.
