Just a normal dad in the UK aiming for a better life for my family.
£50k salary.
Mortgage.
Kids.
Investing monthly anyway.
I’ll be sharing:
- portfolio updates
- dividends
- salary/budgeting thoughts
- honest money feelings
- real progress
No fake guru stuff. Just the journey.

Taking a week off to make some memories with my daughter before baby boy arrives 👶💙
Portfolio is comfortably over £8,500 and up £25 this week, but that’s not what I’m most excited about.
Time with family > everything.
Will be a bit quieter on here next week 😊

LGEN dividend day today 💰
This time last year I received £1.23
Today it will be £36.81
Nothing clever. Nothing complicated.
Just sticking to my plan, reinvesting dividends and watching the snowball ❄️

Mad that over 125 people now follow me to hear me:
🥵Stress about cost of life with a 3 year old and baby about to arrive
😍Get excited over small dividends
🧱Trying to build something for my family one pay-check at time
Really enjoyed chatting to everyone so far. 💙
Looking at nursery costs for our baby boy already which feels mad considering he’s not even born yet 😅
Was shocked that 4 days in somehow seems basically double the cost of 3 days.
Does anyone here do term-time only nursery?
If so how does that work around full time jobs?
