Making Computers Safe for Humanity. The first danger we are tackling is Elon Musk’s reckless deployment of unsafe Full Self-Driving cars on our roads.

1. Musk repeatedly refers to the product as "Tesla self-driving", with no mention of the word supervised, this makes people complacent, as this person has admitted they were.

If the driver monitoring system wasn't defective it would have detected that driver wasn't paying attention. It failed, and FSD failed.

2. That's not a construction zone. The humans were handling the closed lane just fine, they managed to read, understand and obey the giant sign saying DO NOT ENTER.

3. Musk claimed FSD would be Level 5 by 2020. Six years later and it's still ignoring Do Not Enter signs and crashing into barriers.

Level 5 means being able to handle all roads, even ones you might think are stupid, until the roads are redesigned in 20 or 30 years time.

The roads will still look like this is 2028, and self-driving cars need to be able to handle them as they are.

The Tesla you own will never be Level 5 with it's current hardware.

Today marks seven years since @ElonMusk lied to investors and customers at Tesla Autonomy Day in 2019, where he promised:

❌ 1 million Tesla Robotaxis by 2020

❌ $30,000 a year for Tesla owners from their cars operating as Robotaxis

❌A $38,000 Model 3 would appreciate to $200,000

❌ A drivetrain that would last 1 million miles with minimal maintenance

On today's $TSLA earnings call Musk will make similarly fantastic claims, which also won't come true.

BREAKING: @ElonMusk just lied by saying that @Tesla hasn't had a single Robotaxi crash to date.

Tesla has reported 15 Robotaxi crashes to @NHTSAGov and redacts as much information as possible. At least one crash involved a hospitalization.

7 years ago, Musk said HW3 Teslas had "all the hardware necessary, compute and otherwise, for Full Self-Driving. He repeated this for years.
