Brian May wrote “We Will Rock You” after seeing how powerfully a crowd could become part of a performance. Built almost entirely around foot stomps, handclaps and Freddie Mercury’s vocal, the song opened Queen’s 1977 album News of the World. By Montreal in 1981, it had become a perfect arena anthem, with thousands of fans effectively joining Queen as part of the song.

I know every one of these songs, yet I can’t remember what I had for breakfast this morning. Funny how that works. 😂
“The Night Chicago Died” was my grandmother’s favorite, and as my uncle was a police officer in New Jersey, it always had a special connection for her. ❤️
I also remember listening to Casey Kasem every Saturday, waiting for my favorite songs and recording them so I could play them again later. Music sure has a way of bringing those memories right back. 📻❤️

Here's the full tribute for Rafael Devers at Fenway Park tonight. The shots of him and Xander Bogaerts killed me.
Much more cheers at the end of it than at the start of the game.
The @RedSox are the first MLB team to have all 9 starters collect an RBI with none of them striking out since the Red Sox themselves did so against the St. Louis Browns on June 25, 1949.
