"If Bricks & Minifigs doesn't like that, they can sue us"
Patreon CEO Jack Conte have rejected Bricks & Minifigs attempt to take down Reckless Ben's page supporting the family who allegedly had their $200,000 Lego collection stolen
BO7 better end up receiving the "You know what? This game was actually really great" treatment that MWIII got, because the post-launch has 100% made up for its shortcomings.
Loved the Tom Kane tribute at the endβ€οΈ
Seasonal story wrapping up with season 4??!!??
Confirmed 6 seasons, obviously season 6 will be the haunting soni wonder what season 5 will be, Maybe zombies themed?
@Capt_Price_141@strangesthang@tdawgsmitty It is looking good. Especially like IW keeping all the features Treyarch added back in with BO6 and BO7 and expanding on it.
Just hope doors can be shot open like in BO6 and hope there is a perk to replace tactical sprint with faster sprinting
@Capt_Price_141@strangesthang@tdawgsmitty It's still a good indicator at the game's health, even if it's only for America and especially if top contenders are Fortnite, GTA5, Roblox, and Minecraft. Plus, due to them being a research based company, they have strict guidelines for gathering and displaying data.
@tdawgsmitty I know content is planned in advance. But we've also seen content plans change / removed / added onto based on community engagement. Black Ops 7 is an example of that with Endgame
@Capt_Price_141@strangesthang@tdawgsmitty It's fair to feel that, but it's something I don't see really based on of previous games + statements from ex developers.
Typically if a game's post-launch is meeting or exceeding Activision's expectations, they get their content + more for post-launch.
Hopefully MW4 is good
@Capt_Price_141@strangesthang@tdawgsmitty Most likely same case here: Steam for BO7 has kept consistent player numbers (albeit low), but consoles have been ranking within the top 2 or 3 for player retention based on Circana.
@Capt_Price_141@strangesthang@tdawgsmitty MWIII had a lower playerbase than MWII's launch, but the post-launch playerbase was consistent / rising. MWIII on Steam averaged 80-120k and was rising, and SHG ex MP director stated consoles had better success.
@strangesthang@tdawgsmitty While true some post launch content is made before launch, realistically in modern era COD it's only up to Season 2 reloaded / Early Season 3 content that's ready.
Plus Activision isn't afraid to cut seasons / content if a game isn't meeting demands
@NONAMEHERE935@RevivedGamerHD@tdawgsmitty The assessment on Omni-movement is fair. It's not for everyone. Personally I love it, but believe aspects like Omni-slide and dive should stay Treyarch exclusive.
I dont agree on the weapons front though. Both games feel the same to me in terms of balance and I prefer BO7's pool
Black Ops 7 is CONFIRMED to be getting 6 Seasons of content:
π₯ "We have two more amazing Seasons coming." β only the Seasonal Story ends with Season 4.
(via Treyarch Dev Talk)
@PClearyJr@tdawgsmitty@RevivedGamerHD 1) MW19 and MWIII were as sweaty, if not sweatier in most cases compared to BO7 and MW4 will have similar movement to those. Movement isn't the only factor to make the game sweaty.
2) All the cheaters must be dogshit then, because I only run into 1 or 2 a month on BO7 at most
@PClearyJr@tdawgsmitty@RevivedGamerHD@_yururinrin You do realize MW4 will be just as sweaty as BO7, right? Even with the loosened SBMM in BO7, the games can still feel sweaty, because EVERYONE is just better at games now.
No matter how much changes COD does, that will never change.
@tdawgsmitty@RevivedGamerHD@PClearyJr@_yururinrin Every COD game is sweaty nowadays. Black Ops 7 feels less so than any of the previous Warzone-Era titles due to open matchmaking. But legit those games were also sweaty during their life cycles, and any old COD games nowadays are also sweaty. The average player just got better.
@RevivedGamerHD@tdawgsmitty I think the massive factor is Treyarch developed the MP and Zombies for both BO6 and BO7, so they immediately wrote off the two modes in BO7 because of BO6. People also forget Treyarch doesn't make the campaign anymore and it instead is Raven Software.
