@MichaelBurry, @michaeljburry yesterday posted a provocative article about SaaS software stocks. Which ones did he cover? Buy or sell? Partially covered at @stocktwits.com.
Historically, I think, the Iowa and other betting sites that require speculators to put up real money on their bets are more accurate than most polls.
The question that no one is answering or can answer is are the speculators trying to make some easy money betting on the elections, or are they trying to show momentum for Harris or Trump?
The https://t.co/8AHwwJiv4B site shows that 65% of a lot of speculators are buying Trump.
Further, the French nationalist who is an experienced trader who thinks Trump will win has bet some $28 million on Trump. That suggests that he/she bought the Trump contracts last June and July when a Trump buy vote cost about 44 cents.
So the French trader has about a 47% profit on his/her bets.
Will the trader take that 47% profit ($13.6 million) or hold on to his/her bet until the winner of the election is declared? If the trade is held to the end and Trump wins, the trader doubles his/her $28 million. If Trump loses, the trader loses $28 million.
What would you do if you were in the trader's trading room? @SenRickScott@SenMarcoRubio

https://t.co/Ep2S4qI3YY James Taranto writes: "Lately Mr. Trump’s detractors have been speculating about his “mental decline.” There’s no sign of such slippage in our Thursday meeting. The 2024 Trump seems more confident and is certainly more knowledgeable about policy than he was in 2015. His discursive style of talking can confuse listeners, but that was equally true nine years ago, and he never appears lost in his thoughts the way President Biden repeatedly did in their June debate." @ElonMusk @SenMaroRubio
this doesn’t surprise me. People who love Trump don’t want to see or hear anything critical about him. People who hate Trump don’t want to see anything nuanced about him. And most normal people are just exhausted by him.
Donald Trump was scheduled to be interviewed by the editor of Bloombsberg at about 12 or 12:15 p.m. At 12.40, No Trump. Is he avoiding the interview? Or just shortening it till the Chicago Economic Club audience goes back to work?
The more interviews Kamala Harris does, the weaker a presidential candidate she seems. Just endless word salad bilge. Democrats must be kicking themselves they didn’t have a proper contest to replace Biden.
What is going on between Biden and Harris? He has a press conference at the same moment she's on The View. Her campaign is complaining about DeSantis and he's praising DeSantis. Why, it's almost like she staged a coup against him and he is working against her from the sidelines!
If Trump loses, which I think is still a significant if, it’s going to be funny watching all of the people who keep telling me that me and my ilk are irrelevant suddenly insisting that me and my ilk were responsible for him losing.
If Republicans lose, it will be because they cared more about Trump and his bullshit than actually winning with a decent candidate — and decent human being.
On Fox News, @SenRonJohnson sounds like Biden/Harris on Ukraine. Worried about how Putin will respond to Ukraine's war effort. Lies when he says Trump is concerned about Ukrainians. Trump wants to put hotels in Moscow.
@GovRonDeSantis Ron DeSantis is grandstanding for a position in the Trump White House or cabinet. The way he and Trump are campaigning, I fear they are their worst enemies.
I have never seen a candidate more determined to blow an election.
Instead of talking about affordability and immigration security (the top public issues), Trump is once again screaming about prosecuting his opponents.
Message to Donald:
Focus on helping voters, not yourself.
CNN, Dana Bash embarrass themselves and Warner Media Discovery. This was a slick pro Harris show with little to now substance and a lot of free ads for Harris and paid ones for CNN.
