(I so wanted to leave the apostraphe out: “Were Moving” grrrrrrowl! 😹)
@Rainbow_Ark Thank you, truly! It's really heartening to know!
It's been so scary working directly on paper with ink, no pencil scribbles as guides—but it's the only way to get better! :)
The previous champion, Tanzania Mwika, has been de-throned by Burundi Kibingo.
I've never before had a cup as rich, robust, naturally chocolatey, with zero bitterness as the Kibingo done as a darker medium roast ("Full City Plus")

Today's morning warmup.
For whatever reason I just didn't feel "in the groove" today. Maybe I need more coffee. Maybe I need more practice. Maybe both.

Gawd, it's obvious which one was done first, middle... and last.
(Twitter, whyfore your image algorithm focus on the worst looking one?) https://t.co/oLMRNOqdSu
Day 2’s #inksketch morning warmups.
Really struggled today. Most of what I did was embarrassingly bad. These two were the only decent ones of the bunch.

Who knew that roasting my own coffee would lend credence to the cautioning against perfectionism, (a bad habit of mine)
The "flaws" in toaster-oven roasting make for a more interesting cup than the perfection of a drum roaster. https://t.co/TJQ94rD4F9
2nd day's coffee w/new roaster: It's super good, but it's almost too perfect—all the beans R @ the exact same level.
I find myself somewhat missing the complexity I got roasting in my toaster oven—some beans would be light, some dark; it gave "dimension" to the taste of the cup.
