Last month, I tweeted on the need for the Federal Government of Nigeria to properly domesticate our Naira. Let's begin to sell what we produce (crude oil) in naira. Our national assembly members, ministers and even the president and his top officials, receive and spend in $. Why?

Today, we have seen a significant appreciation of the Naira. Yet, the prices of commodities are still on high. The president should, as a matter of urgency, come up with a price regulation team (taskforce) with the inclusion of military men to storm the markets and shops.
