@elonmusk If you leave AI/machines in charge of production, they'll optimize everything to a fault and deplete Earth of its resources. Moreover, what will human beings be WORTH in an AI-run world, where our time and skills aren't put to use? How will the value of things/products work?
@ivandemigoal A big step up, and bonus playoffs experience for the future. Bonus, no serious injuries to core/young players.
Barely anyone saw them in the playoffs at the start of the season anyway; even less so finishing 3rd in the Atlantic, tied with Tampa in points. A+ for me.
@FringedCanuck Hitting your toe on furniture is not an emergency. Every Canadian knows that if it had been life threatening, you'd have been taken care of on the spot. Our system is by no means perfect, but it's better than filing for bankruptcy or doing a GoFundMe for surgery.
@finbarr_connor@ShrimpTeslaLong@oelma__ Depends. In some fancy restaurants, you get a whole team of servers, and they have to split the tips. 40% for a huge fancy meal (which assumes you're rich) is fair - IF the service is excellent.
@oelma__ Tip is NOT 40%.
Tip is supposed to be proportional to what YOU feel is excellent service.
10% is minimum. 20-25% is maximum.
That way, the better servers get a better pay. And the ones that suck have motivation to do better.
