That is because our perception of reward is only tied to what we can see. That is so shallow of us. Sncere givers will never lack. My beloved has affirmed that. Finally Allah says: and whoever saves himself from the stinginess of his soul, these are those who are successful

How can we do that? Sometimes, you have to give preference to other peoples need over yours. Weather wealth, time or food etc. "SOMETIMES".
Today, we see posts calling towards stinginess. You hear "givers don dey lack now o".
Only after Then you can pick up your phone.
It's a small habit, and I intend to improve with it my concentration in salah and during my adkar (after sallah), and help break that constant urge to check notifications.
A ONE MONTH CHALLENGE.
I've noticed something about myself and I wonder if I'm the only one. The moment I finish my salah and say the salam, my hand almost automatically reaches for my phone. I want to check messages, notifications, socials,
And over time it's started affecting me. Even during prayer, sometimes my mind drifts. So for the next 30 days, I'm doing something about it.
The challenge: after every salah, don't touch your phone until you've completed your adhkar. observe it with presence.
Long term thinking improves short term decision making. Successful people analyze their choices and behavior in the present to make sure what they are doing today is consistent with the long term future they desire. Future intent influences and often determines present actions.
