I’m team patch 2.0 over 2.1 for the escape patch ngl but I’m hoping there’s a happy middle in the future. Just hate fake comp brain dead dribbling being rewarded. The games definitely more fun now it just sucks playing against somebody abusing the escape into someone over and over. If they soft buff fades again I might have a mental breakdown live with a face cam bc I’m still fading from 3 now and if they buff that it’s Ggs.
Locks are not OP
Blitzs are not OP
Steals are not OP
Targeting any one of these to work on for the next patch is misleading and inefficient. The issue most of yall are seeing is an oversensitivity in most of the dribble moves. While i do think post patch gameplay is better than pre patch gameplay, we still have to give the right feedback as a community for future patches.
I think the sensitivity should vary with steal ratings, positioning, unpluckable levels, adrenaline, and most of all, reaches. Its not the reaches or blitzs that are getting the bulk of the steals, its the sensitivity of the dribble moves. A ball handler can make a bad decision, but the defender should have to make them pay for it by countering their bad decision. A defender with no steal rating and not reaching should not be getting steals this easily.
I think the patch is in the right direction, but as any 2k patch, it needs some polishing.
What we think? #NBA2K26
Always remember, there’s a segment of people who load up 2K and think spamming dribble moves behind a HOF Brick Wall Screen until the defender gets thrown out of the play or stuck behind their dribble animations trying to fight through, is great Basketball and talented gameplay.😭🫵
You gotta be careful with that stomping niggas out in The Rec shit…cuz once niggas start quitting? That team instantly becomes a super team 🤣 AI start hitting moving threes on the fast break & u know dumbasses bout to fall asleep and leave them the slightest bit of room. Next thing u know you on the mic SWEATING cuz u bout to lose to three AIs and two ass niggas when u was just up 20. 😂
