@bekahboo1290 Colorful camos themselves aren't the issue. It's being able to just spend $30 to get one that's more attractive than anything earned via progression. I don't mind a cel shaded camo, but make it a prestige reward.

@Fifakill_ I'd say about 50% of the skins were absolutely immersion-breaking. That being said, I hate store skins altogether. They completely ruined the fun of earning cosmetics via progression. Showing off your new gold AK is useless when the guy next to you is holding a $30 dragon gun.

@CL207 A main reason is that when an MMO first comes out nowadays, people expect it to be like WoW. But that's impossible. WoW had 10+ years of world building/lore before release. Then it has had 20+ years of added content and refinement. A new MMO can't match that with ~4 years of dev.

The most annoying thing in gaming right now is all the insufferable racing sim elitists coming out to inform everyone that Forza isn't a sim and using a wheel is pointless. Nobody asked.

Forza/GT/NFS are more fun than your dead racing simulator.

@nmplol The viewer base for gaming on Twitch is still there. It's just that the mainstream came in and prefers watching nuisance streamers. The only solutions are to fully separate IRL and Gaming on the site and/or make a whole updated ToS for IRL that treats streamers like toddlers.

Destiny 2 will eventually shut down for good. That entire game's content gone forever... unless they make it offline or provide ways to host servers. Which they won't ever do because they'll want you to buy destiny 3 or concord 2 or whateverthefuck instead.
