Today was visitation day for various schools. So we checked on some of the children of our comrades who are not able to be present in their children's lives. We checked on Jeremiah, Olivia Lutaaya's son, and Nangooba Margaret, a daughter to our deceased comrade, Mukwaaya Edward. We also visited Kubulangira John Ramos, son to our brother, Achileo Kivumbi.
We cannot thank enough, our comrades in the Diaspora, for raising funds which we are using to top up school fees, and meeting some other needs for these families. May God bless every hand that has contributed to this cause. @NubianBukenAli
Then he says that everyone should subject themselves for trial so that the truth comes out. But Yasin Ssekitoleko aka Machete and the others have spent close to six years in detention without trial! All this time, they have never appeared before any judge for their case to be heard. Even when the Supreme Court ordered that their files be sent to ordinary courts for trial, his regime refused to transfer those files. Instead, state agents have made it clear that their only path to ever get out of jail is to plead guilty to crimes they never committed!
Museveni mock and laughed at Dr. Besigye and Dr. Miria Matembe yesterday but I have not seen the moral police that was all over BobiWine's tweet saying anything.
Please keep the same silence when tables turn.
Good morning Owek. @MathiasMpuuga, you took tax payers money and when our party asked questions, you called us names!
Now I am here to let you know that you’ll soon be called to answer the very questions but this time by the same people that gave you the names to call us then!
In a country with a serious government, these three individuals @AAgather, @SpireJim and @GodwinTOKO would be awarded national honours for opening the lid and blowing the whistle on the grand corruption that was taking place in Parliament. I can't help but remember the kind of vitriol they received from regime apologists for releasing details of shocking transactions of billions landing on personal accounts. At the highest level, they were branded traitors and agents of foreigners.
Today, the same facts they revealed are stated in court documents. Even when the regime continues to harass them for their work, this moment provides all of us a lesson that when you remain consistent at doing the right thing, you'll most certainly be vindicated at the right time.
As I was leaving Luzira prison to check on our illegally jailed colleagues, I bumped into Igara East MP @MichealMawanda1 the Architect of the 164Bn cooperatives Heist at the entrance of where he should be confined!
I did the moral duty to deliver the message to the end consumer!
