We should not have to live like this.
Yesterday, police found a woman on 20th Street that was attacked and shot. Days earlier, police were called about a stabbing nearby.
How much more violence does our community have to tolerate before the Liberals admit their catch-and-release justice system has failed?
Conservatives will fight for jail, not bail, repeal Liberal catch-and-release laws, and end the revolving door justice system.
Enough is enough.
@sappholives83 I have to disagree with you on this one. Most men care for their sexual partner's arrousal and orgasm, and do not wish them to have pain during intercourse.
As a Chief, this conversation is personal to me.
There is no serious doubt that China is interfering in Canada through elections, investments, organized crime, and political influence.
But I had also seen reports of China targeting First Nations communities.
What I did not fully understand was the depth of that strategy, the impact it could have, or the relationships being built until this conversation with @scoopercooper.
It’s personal because many First Nations are seeking investment to grow their economies, create jobs, and lift their communities out of poverty. That matters.
But so does protecting our democracy. No foreign government should be shaping our politics, exploiting vulnerable communities or interfering in our domestic affairs.
Sam Cooper and I discuss China’s approach to First Nations, foreign interference, CSIS’s warnings, which political party would actually stand up to Beijing, and what Canada needs to do next.

Is Canada prepared to stand up to China? 🇨🇦
@scoopercooper joins Nuanced. to discuss foreign interference, China’s approach to First Nations communities, Alberta separatism, @PierrePoilievre, and the Canada–BC condo deal.

@AndrewZywiecMD If she were in B.C., the provincial health authorities could have her detained on a mental health crisis claim. But they won't, because she's not questioning the govt.
🚨 This is what happens when the “stolen land” narrative gets hit with actual history.
Native guy starts in on white people being on “stolen” land…
Then this Native woman shuts it down with facts:
- Native Americans weren’t here “from the beginning.” Their ancestors crossed the Bering Land Bridge from Siberia 15,000–20,000 years ago.
- Once they got here, tribes conquered, displaced, and built empires over each other (Comanches pushed out the Apache and built the Comancheria — sound familiar?).
- Every single piece of land on earth has changed hands through conquest. That’s how human history works.
She nails it:
“What you call stolen, I call conquered.”
Then she drops the line that actually matters:
America 🇺🇸 and Canada 🇨🇦 took it, kept it, defended it, and built the greatest Countries the world has ever seen — with more freedom, opportunity, and prosperity than any of those tribal empires ever dreamed of.
On the 4th of July she’s celebrating 250 years of that progress… not raiding villages and scalping people.
This is the response every “land acknowledgment” warrior needs to hear.
Who’s sick of the selective history?!??

It isn't just Conservatives. No one likes you. People from all over the world are posting videos about what Canadians are really like....hateful, vicious, petty.
