I would be 100% on board with this.
It just doesnโt make a ton of sense for Miami to sign him to a new contract just a week ago (July 22nd) just to turn around and trade him.
Time will tellโฆ.
The red card against Balogun was a bad call, but the one made by Trump was even worse.
Pochettino should sit Balogun tonight, beat Belgium, and show the world America plays by the rules - even if our president doesnโt.
This is an absolute embarrassment to the United States. Once again our President embarrasses our nation on the world stage and now takes to social media, boosting that his phone call to FIFA changed the outcome ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
Absolutely horrible precedent being set here. As a US citizen I will be routing for Belgium to win this game. Not because I donโt love my country, but as a lifelong professional sportsman that has dedicated his career to growing sport around the world. Iโve always taught the importance of integrity and sadly the US has proven to the world we have absolutely none. Shameful
If your brain is so broken by MAGA that youโre fine with the President meddling in the World Cup to save a player his own immigration politics wouldโve kept off Team USA, you donโt get to lecture anyone about patriotism.
๐จ HOLY CRAP. This actually just happened on Capitol Hill.
SEN. JOSH HAWLEY: "Can men get pregnant?"
LIBERAL DR. VERMA: "I'm not sure what the goal of the question is."
HAWLEY: "The goal is to establish a biological reality. Can men get pregnant?"
VERMA: "I take care of people with many identities."
HAWLEY: "Can men get pregnant?"
VERMA: "Again, as I'm saying-"
HAWLEY: "You said science and evidence should control. Can men get pregnant? You're a doctor, I think."
VERMA: "Science and evidence should guide medicine."
HAWLEY: "Do science and evidence tell us that men can get pregnant?"
VERMA: "I think yes-no questions like this are a political tool."
WOW. ๐คฏ๐คฏ๐คฏ @HawleyMO
