A note for outsiders trying to make sense of the protests in Israel.
Most of the people protesting in the streets belong to what's called in Israel the "just not Bibi camp." They are unhappy with Bibi being in power and have been trying to get rid of him, occasionally with the help of foreign funding, since 2015. The theme of the protests is just flavor, the subject is always the same: "Bibi, resign."
These are the same groups who protested against the judicial reform last year and earlier against Bibi in general. In 2015, they were directly financed by the US.
Now they're weaponizing the pain of the hostage families to get more people to support their partisan agenda. Those hostage families who don't support them are being silence by the media but their voice is heard on the streets and social networks (for example Tsav 9 or Ad Ha'nitzachon.)
The reason the strike failed yesterday, which is the first time in my life a labor union strike has failed, is because most people see through the agenda into the heart of the matter. The much-maligned court saw that this was a political rather than labor strike as well.
Don't get me wrong. I'd love to see Bibi go. I don't think he's the devil, but he's not been a good prime minster in recent years. His years of inaction and nurturing of the enemy are what's responsible for the current situation. His social policies are rotting Israel by subsiding its least productive elements. Even if he wasn't a bad prime minister, I'd still be against him because no one should be in power for that long in a healthy republic.
However, the protestors against him are not being honest. They present themselves as non-partisan while being anything but.
What do we need Tom Hanks in America for? We already have his movies. Is he planning on taking away our “Forrest Gump” access, and lose his royalties from streaming?
This is bad news. She is going to kill the economy. Watch high net worth individuals who create jobs and drive growth flee the country for greener pastures. That’s not the way to bolster the middle class. It’s a way to stop investment in the US, and lead to an economic collapse.
JUST IN: 🇺🇸 Kamala Harris backs President Biden's 44.6% capital gains tax proposal, the highest in history.
The proposal also includes a 25% tax on unrealized gains for high-net-worth individuals.
Try typing “Holland” to find the emoji flag, and see what you get instead—a tulip. 🌷 Nothing says “Let's never let the Dutch live down their most absurd financial disaster” like a little digital tulip. Thanks for the jab, emoji overlords. #Subtle#ThatsJustMean#Holland#Tulip
@richimedhurst You will pay for your blatant support of Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah. Suggesting that you are a journalist is also laughable.
Ha, ha! That’s what you get Elon, for being a censoring, narcissistic liar who only pretends to support freedom of speech. 🤥 We all know the truth, and who’s pulling the strings in your “safety” dept. May all the countries of the world do what India 🇮🇳 and Brazil 🇧🇷 have done!
Why do stupid people get 1M views on Twitter? Is this a plot to destabilize the West by filling our heads with stupid people’s random stupid, genocidal musings? Literally none of this is even remotely relevant or true.
We all know Iran could turn Israel into a steaming pile of garbage - more so than what it already is.
The United States wouldn’t be able to stop it from happening. They could cause damage to Iran but would not be able to save Israel.
If the Arab traitors tried to interject their own people would slaughter them in the streets. Escalation is actually a really good way to destabilise them.
The rest of NATO is busy with Russia.
China and north Korea could do us a solid, but they will watch and wait then take all the spoils when the US dollar collapses.
Remember the only reason china even recognises Israel is because of Fatah.
Probably. I think she went to school at the Institute of Incoherence in Kabul, where her dissertation was, “How to Drop a Nuclear Bomb Without an Air Force” and “How to Launch a Nuclear Ballistic Missile When We Don’t Have Warhead” #InquiringMindsWantToKnow
Thank you for pointing it out @SenTomCotton. I’m confused why more people don’t have a problem with this issue. She’s going to make him Secretary of State. In other words, Tehran will be in charge of US foreign policy. 🇮🇷🇺🇸
Why does Kamala Harris continue to dodge important questions about her national security adviser’s relationship with Iran?
The ayatollahs should not have sympathizers in the White House.
The enemy tells me that half of Israel has fled already and the other half is cowering in bunkers. So why the hell am I stuck in traffic at 9:00 p.m.?!
Time Magazine writes, “Harris Turns Border #Hawk Ahead of Arizona Rally”. That’s like saying, “Harris cares about American 🇺🇸 hostages being held by Hamas,🇵🇸” when you already know that the only thing you can count on her to say in her speeches to her radical Islamist base is, “Ceasefire now!”
