Black Adam was getting dragged long before James Gunn was even hired, you fucking moron.

People were already sick of The Rock's ego, his obsession with turning the DCEU into "The Rock Cinematic Universe," and his transparent attempt to skip straight to Superman because he thought it would make him look bigger than Shazam. The guy spent years pushing a solo Black Adam movie while sidelining the character's actual rivalry with Shazam. Even Zachary Levi has openly talked about how that affected the Shazam sequel

And if the reports about his contract clause preventing him from losing fights are true, that just makes him look even more absurdly out of touch. Black Adam was sabotaged by The Rock's own ego, it was obvious, which helped derail the Shazam corner of the DCEU before Gunn ever stepped through the door.

But sure, let's pretend the producer and biggest creative force behind Black Adam bears zero responsibility while somehow blaming a guy who wasn't even running DC at the time. That's some Olympic-level revisionist history right there 🤷
