@TheBeako me: so anyway, yeah, that’s pretty much the state of the game. do you think it’s in a better or worse place than your version of the game?
2017 me: they killed charlie kirk?
ME: do you think the game is better off in my time than in your time?
2017 me: the fucking podcaster?
Everyone praises Halo 2 for it's dialogue, but I think we're forgetting how hyped up we all felt during the intro to the most iconic level in Halo CE 🔥🔥🔥
i try not to get too bothered by sixteen year olds being annoying and self-absorbed on twitter because i remember when i was sixteen and i was probably like that too lol
@Meelsie143 i think the introduction of the wider DC universe via his appearances in the Justice League and the later seasons of The Batman come to my mind specifically mark a point where he’s no longer fighting street level gotham villains and is more concerned with world ending threats
@Meelsie143 it makes the world feel more alive and creates the illusion of community but the moment any of them open their mouths you remember 90% of them are babbling racist apes
@SheevTalks@Trooper9851 involved in a fight the viewer doesn’t immediately go “well shy doesn’t she just blood bend?” one of my problems with korra as a whole is that it devalues a lot of the powerful but limited types of bending set up in TLA
@SheevTalks@Trooper9851 i don’t know what’s so hard to understand about this. easiest example i can think of is blood bending in avatar (the last airbender SPECIFICALLY). when it’s introduced, it’s set up so that it can only be done during a full moon ensuring that from then on everytime katara is (1/2)
