Earlier today, U.S. forces in the Middle East shot down two Iranian one-way attack drones that threatened international maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz.
American forces remain postured and ready to continue defending against Iranian aggression.
🗞️ Pentagon Raises Israel Espionage Threat to “Critical” — Highest Level, Above Some Adversaries
The Defense Intelligence Agency has raised its counterintelligence threat assessment for Israel to “critical” — its highest level, now higher than any other U.S. ally and above some adversarial nations — after U.S. personnel in Israel found spyware installed on their phones, the New York Times reports.
Israel is believed to have eavesdropped on U.S.-Iran peace negotiations, targeting:
▪️ Steve Witkoff, Trump’s top Iran negotiator
▪️ Elbridge Colby, the Pentagon’s top policy official
▪️ Michael DiMino IV, Pentagon’s senior Middle East policy official
The DIA report also details Israeli military officers planting listening devices at DIA headquarters in 2021, and Shin Bet attempting to bug a Secret Service vehicle last year. One senior U.S. official described Israel’s collection on American officials as “unhinged.”
Israel and the White House both denied the allegations.
🚨BREAKING: US planning to use Iranian assets to rebuild Gulf allies, a source familiar with Secretary Bessent’s thinking tells me.
“Treasury will utilize all tools available to allow Iranian assets to be made available to our Gulf allies to support rebuilding and repairs for any future damage caused by Iran," the source tells me.
This comes as the administration aims to put increased economic pressure on Iran. The Iranian assets could include frozen assets and ships the U.S. has seized.
The administration is reaching out to Gulf allies right now and asking for their evaluation.
“The Secretary has also directed his team to assess conditions amongst our Gulf allies and request comprehensive estimates of the costs associated with repairing damage Iran has inflicted since the start of the conflict,” the source said.
“Treasury will further consider whether Iranian assets could be used to support repairs for past damages.”
BREAKING: Iran is exercising full operational control over the Strait of Hormuz today with over 100 IRGC Navy speedboats visible in a major formation along their designated route 55km northwest of Qeshm Island, per Sentinel-2 satellite imagery.
BREAKING: The United States is reportedly examining options to use Iranian assets to help cover reconstruction and repair costs in Gulf countries affected by regional attacks, according to Reuters.
Sources say U.S. Treasury officials have been tasked with assessing damage sustained by regional partners and estimating recovery expenses. The review could pave the way for discussions on whether Iranian assets may be used to fund compensation or rebuilding efforts tied to past and future damages.

⭕️ Iran’s Foreign Ministry condemned early Friday morning U.S. strikes on coastal surveillance facilities in Sirik and radar and coastal observation posts on Qeshm Island on Qeshm Island as a “flagrant violation” of the ceasefire and an act of aggression against Iranian sovereignty.
Tehran said its forces responded within the framework of legitimate self-defense under UN Charter Article 51, calling the response “complete, decisive, and effective.” It placed full responsibility for all consequences of the strikes and future escalation on Washington.
Iran called on the UN Secretary-General, Security Council, and all relevant international bodies to take action against what it described as repeated U.S. ceasefire violations, warning that continued American aggression “confronts the region with serious dangers.”
🇱🇧🇮🇱⚡️- The Israeli Defence Force's statement on the strike that hit a Lebanese Army Vehicle. They claim the vehicle was misidentified as a Hezbollah vehicle as it was in a combat zone:
"- Earlier today (Saturday), the Israel Defense Forces identified a vehicle moving suspiciously toward the troops near the village of Tebnine in southern Lebanon.
- The vehicle was traveling in an active combat zone that had been evacuated, and an alert was received regarding gunfire directed at Israel Defense Forces troops in the area. Available information with the Israel Defense Forces also indicates that Hezbollah is operating extensively in this area.
- Following the identification of the vehicle, and based on the warning information and the danger it posed to the troops, it was targeted, with initial examination results revealing that two officers and a soldier from the Lebanese Army were inside the vehicle. The incident remains under investigation.
- It is noted that movement in a combat zone requires coordination with the Israel Defense Forces.
- The Israel Defense Forces is investigating the incident and will draw the necessary lessons according to the results. We emphasize that Israel Defense Forces troops operate against the terrorist Hezbollah and not against the Lebanese Army." - Israeli Defence Force.
Leaked sticking points for US-Iran negotiations failings:
-Continued US interception of Iranian ships causing several instances of drone and missile exchanges straining talks.
-Israeli actions in Lebanon violating ceasefire agreement.
-Iran refusing to transfer enriched uranium out and wanting total sanctions relief, trying to exclude nuclear at all from negotiations.
🚨🇮🇷🇺🇸 Khamenei's senior military advisor told CNN there will be no Trump meeting and negotiations are at a deadlock. Iran's test for trust: release $24 billion in frozen assets.
"This is our own money, not America's."
His warning if the blockade continues: Iran drags the war to the Indian Ocean, the Red Sea, and the Mediterranean.
His message to Trump: decide independently of Israel.
🇺🇸🇮🇷⚡️- "U.S. forces intercepted multiple Iranian ballistic missiles and drones launched by Iran toward the Strait of Hormuz and Gulf neighbors, June 5.
Iran fired seven ballistic missiles toward Kuwait and Bahrain hours after U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) shot down four Iranian one-way attack drones that were launched toward the Strait of Hormuz. The attack drones posed an immediate threat to regional maritime traffic. U.S. forces subsequently struck Iranian coastal surveillance radar sites in Goruk and on Qeshm Island to defend against further maritime attacks.
Initial assessments indicate six of the missiles launched by Iran were intercepted and a seventh did not reach its intended target. There are currently no reports of harm to U.S. personnel, and Iranian claims of damaging U.S. 5th fleet headquarters in Bahrain are false." - US Central Command.
U.S. CENTCOM has released footage of strikes on Iranian coastal surveillance radar sites in Goruk and on Qeshm Island. After the strikes, six Iranian missiles were intercepted over Kuwait and Bahrain, with a seventh not reaching its intended target.
Iran’s IRGC says four tankers tried leaving Hormuz at 1:30 a.m.; one was hit, two turned back. At 2:00 a.m., US drones struck sites in Qeshm and Sirik islands. Iran then responded with missile strikes on Kuwait’s Ali Al Salem Air Base and U.S. Fifth Fleet facilities in Bahrain.
