@CruelTerrier1 He struck a cop in the neck and head with a big stick, which is comparable to a baseball bat. The suspect kept coming; he wasn’t done attacking. The suspect is employing lethal force, hence why the cop responded with lethal force. Once you threaten a life, you forfeit your own.
