@athenaeumbc writing needs to be chaotic though, if it’s going to resemble the way our psyche is. Guilt, shame and strong emotions present themselves to us in very chaotic ways. Dostoyevsky presents Raskolnikov not as a rational character, but as someone who has every reason to be chaotic
