I don’t think so. If you increase the flicker rate you’ll decrease the light output. It might be possible with a rotor redesign, but would require a much bigger projector to house the larger rotor running at effectively 2x speed to the film. I might be totally wrong too, I’m no expert.
@Jonathanvi64888 No. We’ll send the print back to IMAX because it’ll probably be used for a re-release. If you want frames you might get lucky if you can visit a booth and they have scraps laying around from old documentaries.
@cremieuxrecueil Jerry they say all men are created equal, but you look at me and you look at Kramer and you can see that statement is not true. It’s not true Jerry!
@nikitabier what happened to the interests setting? It's 404. I feel like my feed has degraded the past few weeks and I wanted to turn off unwanted topics to fix my feed.
@DavidPoland I can confirm that TCL Chinese is installing IMAX equipment in their current booth. No more temp box inside the theatre. It will be 1570 film. The screen will remain the same.
@marcusleshock Unless they have a digital projector running in the same booth there aren’t going to be any trailers except what is on the film. Likely just a new Dune 3 trailer.
