Did anyone notice that President Trump, while addressing the World Economic Forum, used a background image of the US Seal that signifies war instead of peace?
Apparently, Jesse's opponent is going to break his pledge to run a clean campaign!
Instead, let's unite to protect our families, protect our futures, and protect our state! #VoteJesseYoung
One day left to get your tickets to see the highly acclaimed Reagan… and to watch it in style!

Local fundraising is a political necessity, but we all get tired of the same old boring fundraising events; which is why we like to put on this event - where the donors get more value than the candidate.
This year’s event includes:
* Your IMAX movie tickets (VIPs get preferred seating and more)
* Catered dinner from the multiple-award-winning Texas-style Barbeque restaurant: BBQ2U
* Live music provided by local band: Two Macs
* All-access candy station for your sweet tooth
* Since everyone is worried about taxes and inflations, Jesse has arranged for special presentations from:
--Let’s Go Washington – to share about the 4 important initiatives on the ballot this November
--County Assessor-Treasurer (the position that sets your property taxes) candidate, Kent Keel.
--And of course, Rep. Young will share his vision for the state legislature
* A chance to win a one-week stay at the luxurious Marriott's Desert Springs Villas Vacation Resort (one guaranteed winner)!
* And, if you’re still hungry after dinner, a specially arranged movie popcorn and drink coupon so you can immerse yourself in movie experience bliss.
It’s the best value and most fun date night / political event you’ll attend this year. See you there!

1. I'm happy to come on your show and discuss that bill thoroughly with you, and go through the data if you like. But to call me a liar is disingenuous and itself untrue.
2. Here's why:
You've chosen to pull a quote from your audio, but why don't you be honest with the full audio and context? AND, for the sake of transparency, make sure to note that you didn't tell me you wanted to discuss this bill ahead of time. And, before you give a stock answer of saying that you don't tell people such things beforehand, don't fail to mention that immediately after asking me about a random bill number from multiple years ago, you then identified it by quoting an inaccurate title of the bill.
a. After you asked me a gaslit question, on the fly, I then asked you to give me a second while I attempted to pull up the bill on my computer during our interview. However, since you gave me an inaccurate title and didn't reference the legislative session from which that bill number was, I clearly pulled up the default legislative bill number, which is the current bill number, and tried to reference the title for you. At that point, we discovered that you were referring to an HB1227 bill from a past session, and I had pulled up another HB1227 from a different session. You then acknowledged that mistake.
b. Now, you may try to claim that you were referencing the colloquial name of the bill, but you also lied and attempted to confuse the issue by definitively saying that only a few republicans supported the bill. That is plain wrong, and you knew it; 32 of 41 Republican caucus members supported / voted for it. So, you again mis-represented the bill by falsely making it out to be something it’s not.
c. Regardless, I attempted to pull up the other bill on the fly for the sake of a magnanimous conversation, but you immediately launched into in-depth policy questions about the bill.
i. Note: Had you wanted to have an in-depth or sincere discussion on this bill, you could have simply asked me to speak about it beforehand and avoided any confusion.
ii. I would have still come on your show, as is evident because I came on your show despite your endorsement of my opponent.
d. No problem. Despite having no foreknowledge of a bill that is multiple years old from a past session, I still, from memory, engaged you on the content of that bill, and we debated it. Long story short, we disagree about the bill.
e. At the last moment of our discussion, you asked whether I had co-sponsored the bill. That is the point where you have referenced my comment, but as you could clearly tell, Ari, I was scrolling through the webpage on my computer. However, because you did not provide me with an accurate listing of the bill, gave me an inaccurate bill title, and referenced it as a un-supported Republican bill, I was clearly looking at a bill number from a different session than you were when I looked at the bill sponsor list that did not include my name.
f. Finally, if you look at other House bills numbered 1227, you will see that I am not a co-sponsor on those bills. Clearly, I did not lie to you.
3. So, you can chalk up my answer to you as a mistake, but if it's my mistake, it's also yours for not giving me a link to the bill for accurate referencing or not providing me in advance any hint that you wanted to talk about it. So, again, in that case, the mistake is also yours. But to call me a liar is completely disingenuous, and you know it. Ari, you were in the interview with me, and you can clearly tell, after having done scores of interviews, that I was attempting to verify your question from the webpage I had in front of me, not craft a lie. Don't do that, Ari. You're better than that.
4. Finally, it's your right not to support me because I voted for the bill, but then I have to ask you: Why are you endorsing all of the other Republicans who also voted for that bill? In fact, 4/5 of the Republican caucus voted for that bill, Ari. Again, support me or not, that's your prerogative, but when 4/5 of the Republican caucus also vote for a bill because they agreed with the same issues that I brought up during our interview, don't then turn around and try to claim that I either lied to you or that somehow my voting for that bill makes me not conservative. As it turns out, your support for the bill is counter to 4/5 of the Republican caucus.
LOCAL donor support can be VERY INSIGHTFUL.
Rachel Harter and Jesse Young are leading their Races in Individual In-District Donors. Interestingly, their two "republican" challengers are at the bottom of the list.
Vote by August 6th. For Jesse and Rachel!
