I spoke to my old friend Mitch McConnell this morning, the senior Senator from Kentucky. He’s still recovering in the hospital. We talked for just shy of 20 minutes … about IRAN, UKRAINE, the unfolding situation in MAINE, my visit to the TR Presidential Library, and even a little bit of Senate history. I told him we want to see him back at work as soon as possible.
I’ve been saying this all along. Illegals flooded the housing market with buyers - flush with massive free-money federal grants for illegal homebuyers. Pricing hardworking citizens out of the market.
Dallas Fed working paper estimates that between early 2021 and early 2024, Biden’s open borders letting in and “unprecedented boom” of 7M illegal aliens was responsible for roughly 30% of home-price growth and 20% of rent growth in the average U.S. metropolitan area during that period. One of the paper’s central conclusions is that the illegal immigration surge acted primarily as a housing-demand shock—more households were competing for essentially the same number of homes and apartments.

@spencerpratt Not merely “ok”.
Anyone who doesn’t love America is a traitor and beneath contempt.
Those who don’t love America, those who are disloyal should be exiled immediately.
The UAE is an unabashed ally of the United States, yesterday celebrated America’s 250th independence.
Guess who else celebrated (president sent a note to White House, billboards with U.S. flag and happy fourth): Lebanon.
Lebanon would be lucky if it can emulate the UAE, join Abraham Accords, and live in peace.
Big news of the day: Chief Justice John Roberts issues a slight edit to the Constitution: "to ... secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and everyone else's Posterity."
Today I’ll work a 9-hour day to pay for illegals to have free housing and healthcare. Most of my paycheck will go to taxes , my inflated mortgage and my insanely high health insurance costs—my taxes will fund fraud, global communism, and illegal border hoppers. I’ll put away a measly amount so my children can hope to one day afford college, while the illegals who just showed up here will go for free. My American children will be paying loans well into their 30s while they compete with debt-free foreign invaders for a low-paying job outside their degree.
This is the new American dream brought to us by criminal politicians and corrupt judges. 🇺🇸 🆘
I at least got to live for 40 years in a country that looks and functions something like America. The fact that my children are having that opportunity stolen from them fills me with rage so deep I can’t describe it. I truly hate the people who have done this to us.
In 1776, we rebelled against unfair taxes and foreign meddling.
250 years later, we’ve become the world’s tax cow, subsidizing everyone else, while anyone with a plane ticket, boat, or desert hike gets citizenship.
The entire planet is just 8 billion undocumented Americans.
The Founders would burn it all down.
The left wing billionaires are funding these shitlib “journalists” to fly to Africa and find a name of someone who died. But can’t lift a finger to help the needy. Typical socialists
If there were dead kids, then where are the left wing billionaires? They are just letting millions of kids kid? Call out Steve Jobs Widow, Alex and George Soros, and the Wal-Mart heirs can sell a mega yacht. Either you’re lying or you’re giving your fellow shitlibs a pass.
@speakerjohnson believes in replacement theology. He is a Christian supremist. He looks down on the Jews, because they have different religious beliefs than his Baptist background.
Speaker Mike Johnson has allowed the GOP to be consumed by Jew hatred. He has shown extremely poor leadership in condemning Jew hatred by members of the House GOP who continue to incite people who wrongly believe Israelis are controlling elections that only US citizens and Americans donated to and participated in.
It’s time for @SpeakerJohnson to actually name names and call out members of Congress who campaigned with swastika wearing Nazis in Kentucky this weekend.
The GOP voters in Kentucky made it clear they don’t want Jew haters in Congress. @laurenboebert@RepSpartz@WarrenDavidson and @RandPaul need to be held accountable for campaigning with Nazis and Thomas Massie needs to be stripped of his committees so he cannot be an obstructionist to the GOP for the next 7 months.
We don’t need Massie inviting Nazis to committee hearings.
Last night, during his concession speech, Massie said,
“I would have come out sooner but I had to call my opponent to concede and it took a while to find him in Tel Aviv.” — @RepThomasMassie
This is a dog whistle to Jew haters.
And @SpeakerJohnson is silent.
It needs to be asked… why??
As we watch this horrible situation in Israel unfold, Americans must face a stark truth: our tax dollars funded this.
Money is fungible, and many of the dollars we sent to Iran are being used to now kill innocent people.
This must stop.
Israel has every right to defend itself. I wish our friends well, but most of all I wish they weren’t fighting against weapons bought with our money.
I get why so many people are frustrated or skeptical about this Iran MOU. On paper, it looks like a massive compromise: $300 billion in unfrozen assets, a fixed schedule to lift sanctions, and immediate oil export waivers for Tehran. But what were we expecting when on one side, Trump is facing an apocalyptic regime that wants the world to burn and on the other, an American public that has no stomach for war? He played the cards that were actually on the table.
I’m sick and tired of the politicians and podcasters who bitch and complain no matter what Trump does. They scream that the war has to stop, but the second he stops it, they turn around and yell, "what kind of deal is this?!" If the goal is to actually end Iran’s regime, history shows there's only one model that works: total WWII-style defeat, occupation, and denazification. That requires American boots on the ground and an Iranian people ready to build a free country from the rubble. But NO ONE, myself included, wants boots on the ground.
Is this MOU what Trump wanted? I doubt it. But he did exactly what a leader of a Republic should do: he listened to the people and found a way to end this. A dictator would have kept on going. At the end of the day, a president can only go as far as the people will carry him. Right now, our appetite for war stops at the gas pump.
The idolatry of Politics and religion CREATED the monster. Both have wisely been ignored (or at least intentionally diminished) in this case by team Trump, who is using actual leverage and not Obama style geo-social engineering to secure the deal.
Past deals that “gave weight to politics and religion” were set up to fail. This one is set up to succeed over the long term.
