I was expecting a more practical, less emotionally driven response, anyways i will keep this factual & in parts so u & your audience can understand, with no bias
1st thing) dont pretend that criticism was being targeted at GTRE or ADA, im seeing From last 24 hrs, blanket statements have been made abt DRDO’s work ethic, competence, reservations, & budget usage as a whole.
Now u selectively claiming it was only meant for one wing is simply a post fact rationalisation & intellectual dishonesty.
2nd) if you want to criticise ADA or GTRE, name them clearly & Even then, criticism must be context aware, Indigenous aero engine development was carried out with
No full scale high-altitude test facilities for decades, Inconsistent & delayed funding, tech denial regimes, int sanctions, Fragmented longterm vision at MoD level (past & current) make your audience aware abt all these facts, Blaming scientists while ignoring institutional constraints shows confirmation bias, not technical insight.
3rd) let me tell u some numbers instead of narratives. We allocated 5000 cr or some in span of over 40 yrs for indigenous fighter engine dev. Thats less than what major engine OEMs spend in 12–18 months on a single engine iteration for exm 🇨🇳 spend 20bn in a decade, sorry but expecting world class results under those constraints is technically illiterate.
4th) Engine programs fail or succeed based on Sustained funding, Test infrastructure, Iterative timelines, Policy continuity Not on the “competence” of scientists alone.
5th & last thing mere bhai don't take it on ur ego & reflect for God sake, criticism is ok & healthy, but targeting a section of scientists who cannot publicly defend themselves, while ignoring policy, funding, & strategic decision making failures, is not a gd thing
If you want accountability, look at the entire ecosystem, If you want scapegoats, keep blaming the scientists, Serious people in your audience & even u should know the difference.
Thank you.
