South Africa’s pharmacy sector is looking towards the future as the fourth National Pharmacy Conference is underway today at the Durban ICC. The conference will focus discussions on how technology and artificial intelligence will reshape healthcare delivery. Health Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi addressed the opening ceremony while key stakeholders deliberated on advancing the profession and preparing for the healthcare demands of 2050. @thobi_dlamini was in attendance.

Eskom Chairperson Mteto Nyati has criticised what he calls double standards among politicians and business leaders when it comes to ethics and governance.

In a social media post, Nyati revealed that unnamed political and business figures approached him to intervene in operational and procurement matters, despite the importance of maintaining proper governance processes.

Nyati says leaders must respect institutional processes and uphold ethical standards, warning against interference in the operations of state-owned entities. #Newzroom405
