Kwara State has continued to make headlines for several reasons, from governance and economic development to youth empowerment and infrastructure growth. As the political season gathers momentum, the time has come for the people to hear directly from those seeking to govern a state of over four million people.
With young people constituting a significant percentage of Kwara's population, voters deserve the opportunity to assess the vision, competence, policies, and leadership qualities of governorship aspirants ahead of the next election.
The Kwara Governorship Debate, powered by Just Event Online TV, will provide a credible platform for candidates to engage the electorate, present their plans, and address critical issues affecting the state.
This is more than a debate; it is an opportunity for informed decision-making and democratic participation.
Your Vote. Your Voice. Your Future.

I Remain Fully in the APC Governorship Race โ Oloriegbe
My attention has been drawn to insinuations circulating in some quarters over the last few days suggesting that I have either stepped down from the 2027 governorship race or endorsed the candidature of another candidate.
I wish to state clearly and unequivocally that there is no truth whatsoever in such claims.
I remain fully in the race for the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress and have neither withdrawn my aspiration nor endorsed any aspirant. My decision to contest is rooted in a sincere conviction about the future of our dear state and the need to offer experienced, competent, and inclusive leadership to move Kwara State to greater heights.
With the rescheduling of the partyโs governorship primary election to this morning, I hereby call on all my supporters, delegates, and progressive-minded members of our great party across the state to come out en masse to vote for my candidacy.
I also urge everyone to remain peaceful, orderly, and law-abiding throughout the exercise. Our strength as progressives lies in our commitment to democracy, fairness, and unity of purpose.
This moment is about the future of Kwara State and the shared vision we collectively believe in. I remain grateful for the overwhelming support, solidarity, and encouragement received across the state, and I urge our people to remain resolute and hopeful.
Signed:
Senator Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe
APC Gubernatorial Aspirant, Kwara State

@ebryhheem2nde For clarity, he wasnโt referring to Kwara South.
He was referring to South west(Lagos power) people trying to control Kwara politics.
That post you tagged was clear enough and devoid of any hidden narrative.
